This River Stone Jar has been cut from a single piece of river stone.  These boulders have been rounded out over time by the running water. This piece has a polished smooth interior and custom fitted lid. The outside of the jar has been left untouched to feature the gorgeous natural live edge of the stone.
Riverstone is extremely hard due to its material density. The objects are often worked from a boulder. Large stone saws, drilling machines and polishing machines are used. The stone color varies from light grey to dark grey, with sand-colored inclusions on the outside.
Riverstone is tough and absolutely frost-proof.
