The Tillandsia Xerographica is a beautiful and relatively large species within the different types of Air Plants . It is also called the king of the 'air plants'. With the gray/silvery colored leaves that form from the heart towards the butt, the Tillandsia Xerographica is very exclusive. Just like the Tillandsia Harissii, this species also falls under the CITES certificate. This means that it is a protected species in Central America and can therefore only be imported to a limited extent.
The Tillandsia In the flowering phase of this plant, a large red and green flower grows from the heart.
However, the Tillandsia Xerographica is shipped from the farms in Central America to the Netherlands, where cultivation continues at the main location of Corsa Plant in De Lier. This shipping is done before the flowering phase of the plant has taken place.
