Time written in stone
This one-of-a-kind fossilised wood sink is more than just a statement piece… it’s a fragment of ancient earth history. Petrified wood forms when fallen trees are buried under layers of sediment and, over millions of years, minerals slowly replace the organic material while preserving the original grain and texture. What remains is a beautiful fusion of nature and time, where every swirl and tone tells a story that began long before modern interiors existed.
Each piece is completely unique, shaped by nature and finished by hand, bringing raw organic character into contemporary bathrooms.
Natural. Timeless. Impossible to replicate.

A petrified wooden sink is one of those unique products that appears out of this world. The process leading to the creation of petrified wooden is magical. Indonesian petrified wood is actually stone from the Miocene era of time, this means it is circa 20 million years old. You did read that correctly – each sink is 20,000,000 years old!!! By comparison, the general estimate is that humans have been around for maybe 200,000 years. Petrified wood is an actual fossil. It forms when the wood is buried by sediment and protected from decay from oxygen. Minerals permeate the structure of the wood and slowly (over millions of years) replace the structure of the tree with stone.
Petrified wood sinks are one of the most unique products we offer. No two are close to being the same shape or color. Each petrified wood vessel sink is hand cut from a single piece of stone, with a naturally organic, highly textural exterior and a highly polished lip and bowl. A standard vessel sink drain will fit the drain hole and we recommend a 'pop-up' style drain which will allow the water to drain quickly and easily.
Use a mild liquid soap to clean the sink bowl and lip. Do not use any abrasive cleanser nor any acidic cleanser. Our sinks are sealed and ready to use, and we recommend using a stone sealer on the lip and bowl at least 1 time per year thereafter.
